Guitar lessons... for those just starting out... to professionals... and everyone in between!
We want to pass on our love and passion for guitar music! Big Hit Guitars is offering personalized instruction to players at all levels. We offer private instruction in our cozy studio room to help you develop your skills and enjoyment playing the guitar.
Our teaching methodology can be summarized with this trio of concepts:
- CURIOSITY: This is the "feeling"; the desire to want or need to play. Maybe it came about because you heard a guitar part in a song and wondered "what is that sound!?" Maybe you are a fan of Eddie Van Halen or John Mayer, or Glenn Campbell or Jeff Beck? Whatever it is that makes you curious, DON'T EVER LOSE IT! This is your foundation.
- PROCESS: The nuts and bolts of instruction. From posture to hand position and from simple chord forms to reading music and composition - this is the "meat" of the instruction.
- RESULT: We believe in results-based instruction. One cannot hit a target unless it is first identified, then aimed at, and finally achieved! We WANT YOU TO SUCCEED... and HAVE FUN!
COST:
Private lessons are $40 per half hour and are scheduled to best accommodate you. Lessons are offered at our facility in Barrington, NH. We teach both electric and acoustic 6-string guitar and also have instruction for bass guitar and ukulele.
